Where to take the ferry from Naples to Sicily

Ferries to Sicily (all ports) depart from the Calata Porta di Massa pier in Naples, specifically from Via Immacolatella Vecchia. You can reach the pier in around 15 min by bus (151, 202 or 412) or metro (stop at Duomo) from the Naples central railway station (Piazza Garibaldi).

If you wish to reach the port straight from the airport (Naples Capodichino), the most convenient option is to catch the Alibus bus, which takes you there in around 40 min.

The port area is equipped with basic amenities, such as bars, restaurants, ATMs, WC, and luggage storage spaces.

Being close to the city center, you can visit some of the main attractions of Palermo. You can easily reach the Duomo, the Norman Palace and the historic markets of Vucciria and Ballarò by bus and on foot!

Port of Termini Imerese

The port of Termini Imerese is located around 38 km from Palermo. This port is primarily commercial, but it also serves ferry connections to Naples.

Porto of Milazzo

Considered an important port of call in northeastern Sicily, it is also the main port for reaching the Aeolian Islands by ferry. 

Located near the city center, the port of Milazzo is nestled in a picturesque setting of ancient buildings with a magnificent castle in the background.

The area has plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, and parking. The city's main attractions are just a few minutes away. You can reach the port by car, train, or bus.
