Where to take the ferry from Livorno to Sardinia

Ferries to Sardinia depart from the port of Livorno. Specifically, Grimaldi Lines ferries usually depart from Livorno’s Darsena Toscana Est, located on Viale Mogadiscio, while Corsica Ferries and Moby Lines from Calata Carrara Nuova Stazione Marittima.

The city center of Livorno is about a 10 min drive away. Nearby, you can find various services, such as parking lots, info centers and public restrooms.

Where does the ferry arrive in Sardinia?

Ferries from Livorno reach the ports of Olbia and Golfo Aranci, both on the north-east coast of Sardinia and gateways to the beautiful Costa Smeralda.

• Olbia: It's one of the most important ports of Sardinia, just a few minutes walk from the city center and about 15 km from the airport of Olbia Costa Smeralda. It can be easily reached by bus (lines 2, 9 and 10) or taxi.
• Golfo Aranci: This is a much smaller port, just a few kilometres from Olbia and the Costa Smeralda. It's a short walk from the town centre and is well connected to the rest of the island by train.
