Ferries to Sardinia mainly depart from 4 ports in Corsica: Bonifacio, Ajaccio, Bastia, and Porto Vecchio.

Port of Bonifacio

Bonifacio provides ferry connections to Santa Teresa Gallura, with departures leaving from the main terminal of the commercial port (Quai Sott, Portigliola). The port is located very close to the city center and can be easily reached in 20 min on foot and 5 min by car. You can find several parking lots near the port.

Figari Airport is well connected to the port of Bonifacio by bus (LB line) and is only 20 km away by car.

Port of Bastia

The port of Bastia is located in the heart of the city and is among the most important in Corsica for passenger and freight traffic. The port is divided into 2 areas: Porto Vecchio and the commercial port.

The picturesque Old Port area (Vieux-Port de Bastia) mainly hosts smaller boats. Ferries to Golfo Aranci depart from the docks in the commercial port of Bastia, where you can also find cafes, restaurants, rental services, and hotels. The Bastia train station is very close to the port and can be easily reached on foot.

Port of Ajaccio

Ajaccio is the capital of Corsica, located in the southwest of the island. Ferries to Porto Torres depart from the ferry terminal in the port of Ajaccio. The port is located close to the train station, but is also easily accessible by car (5 min) or on foot (15 min).

Ajaccio Airport is well connected to the port by bus (line 8) and is only a 20-min drive away.

Porto Vecchio

Ferries to Porto Torres from Porto Vecchio, in the far south of Corsica, depart from this port’s ferry terminal. In the port area, you can find several amenities, including restaurants and cafes.

The port is 2 km from the city centre and can be reached on foot in 15-20 min, or by the electric shuttle ferry A Citadina, which leaves every 20 min. Figari Airport is a 30-min drive from Porto Vecchio.

Where does the ferry arrive in Sardinia?

Ferries from Corsica usually travel to Santa Teresa Gallura, Porto Torres and Golfo Aranci. Keep in mind that some routes are seasonal and may only be available at certain times of the year.
