  • With Baleària, there are no limitations on the amount of luggage, as long as you can carry and handle it on your own. There are also open luggage trunks in the passenger lounges, where you can leave your luggage during the trip.
  • As for GNV, passengers can carry up to 2 pieces of personal luggage.

When it comes to traveling to Barcelona by ferry, you can bring along your pet. Depending on the operator, there are various services and infrastructures for your little friend, such as pet-friendly seats and cabins, kennels and lounges.

Each ferry operator applies different pet policies and offers different services. More specifically:

  • Trasmed offers the option of specially designated kennels for pets starting at €14.
  • Baleària offers various options for pet tickets such as pet-friendly seats and small and large pet cabins. The cheapest option available is the small cabin, a designated area for pets starting at €15. The large cabin costs €20 and a pet-friendly seat €25.
  • GNV offers dedicated spots for dogs and cats. Other animals must travel in cages owned by the passenger. Pets are not allowed in seating areas, lounges, or cabins except in designated pet cabins.

  • By car: drive to the port via the main road network. The port is well-signposted, and parking is available nearby.
  • By bus: take bus lines 10, 10E, 12A, 12B, and 13, which stop near Estació Marítima Muelles Botafoc. Bus line 10 also runs between the airport and the Ibiza bus station.
  • Taxi: a direct taxi ride takes about 20 min from Ibiza Airport.
