Cabins and accommodation

As the Capri - Sorrento ferry trip is rather short, there are no cabins available on the ferries and hydrofoils. However, onboard seating is included in the ticket price.

• On the ferries of Alilauro Gruson and SNAV, each passenger is entitled to a single piece of luggage with maximum dimensions of 50x35x20 cm and a maximum weight of 9 kg.
• NLG allows passengers to carry 1 piece of luggage with a maximum size of 50x30x15 cm and a maximum weight of 5 kg.
• On Caremar ferries, passengers can carry up to 1 piece of luggage with a maximum size of 50x40x20 cm and a maximum weight of 10 kg (hydrofoils) or 20 kg (standard ferries).
• On Laser Capri hydrofoils the ticket includes 1 piece of hand luggage per passenger.

Please note that a fee is applied for any additional luggage or bags larger than those indicated by the companies.

Ferries to Sorrento depart from the port of Marina Grande in northern Capri. There is a funicular that can get you from the famous Piazzetta square in the center of Capri to the port in just a few minutes.

Ferries arrive to the port of Marina Piccola, only a few steps from the historic center of Sorrento. You can reach Piazza Tasso, a central square in Sorrento, from the port on foot or by bus. There is also an elevator that connects the port with the Villa Comunale of Sorrento.
