To take the ferry from Cagliari to Palermo, you will depart from the passenger terminal at the port of Cagliari. It is located in Molo Rinascita on the southern coast of Sardinia. You can reach the port by car, taxi, or public transportation.
The port is well-connected to the city center and it is a 20 minute walk from the railway station and just a 15 minute walk from the bus station. Regular train services connect the port to Cagliari Elmas Airport. Trains usually depart every 20 minutes with tickets starting at €1.30.
