If you’re traveling to/from Salerno with a vehicle, conventional ferries usually have car decks where you can leave your car, motorbike or campervan during the crossing. However, it is important to check that there are no seasonal restrictions on vehicle access before traveling to your chosen destination. • Molo Ponente (entrance on Via Ligea), for conventional ferries traveling the longer routes, where you can find ticket offices, cafes, and toilets.

The port is well connected to Italy’s motorway network via the A1. The Salerno railway station is about 2 km away, while the nearest airports are Naples - Capodichino (50 km) and Salerno - Costa d'Amalfi (15 km). Numerous buses and shuttles connect the railway station and the airports to the various ferry terminals of the port.
