Specifically, the port of Vibo Valentia is located in the hamlet of Vibo Marina, 9 km from the upper village. It is situated on the famous Costa degli Dei (Coast of the Gods) , a 55-km-long coastline ranging from Pizzo Calabro to Nicotera.

As for train services, Vibo Valentia is part of the Lamezia Terme - Reggio Calabria railway line. If you’re traveling from other Italian cities, you must switch trains to get to Vibo Valentia. There are also Ferrovie della Calabria buses traveling throughout the province and stopping in numerous Vibonese locations.
