In the summer of 2023, highspeed vessel Santorini Palace of ferry company Minoan Lines serves ferry crossings to the islands of the Cyclades and Crete.

The Minoan Lines ferry travels from Piraeus port in Athens to Syros, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Santorini, and Heraklion (Crete) on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Santorini Palace departs from Piraeus at 09:00 and reaches Syros in less than 3 hours. Then, it continues its journey to more islands in the Cyclades until it arrives in Crete.

Important: the Santorini Palace itinerary includes stops at Syros and Naxos only on Mondays.

The total trip duration by ferry from Piraeus to Heraklion (Crete) is 9-10 hours. This means you can depart from Athens in the morning and be in Crete by early evening on the same day without having to travel during the night.
