1. Can Carlitos
Located in the port of La Savina, Can Carlitos is a tapas and paella restaurant seeking the balance between traditional Spanish cuisine and modern cuisine with reinvented recipes. The vegetables used pass right from the garden onto the plate!

2. La Mariterranea

In this vintage restaurant you will find traditional dishes, like tapas, terrina de cordero (lamb terrine) and carrillera (pork/beef cheeks), and stuffed calamari, as well as tasty toasts, sandwiches and hot-dogs.

4. Integral
In Es Pujols, you will find one of the few vegetarian/vegan restaurants on the island, named Integral. In this restaurant’s menu of the day you will find creative and tasty dishes, such as vegetarian tapas. Breakfast is also served in this restaurant.
Integral is a very affordable choice, with prices usually around €20 per person, where you can enjoy a very amiable atmosphere.

5. Casa Carmen
This restaurant in Es Pujols might not convince you at first sight, but this is the place to try some of the most tasty tapas on the island, accompanied by the most amazing sangria. We also recommend you try Casa Carmen’s famous paella.

6. Can Pepito
Located in Sant Fransesc Xavier, Can Pepito is an interesting French restaurant with a Mediterranean twist. You will find fantastic brunch options with french toast and croissants as well as classic French dishes, like flambéed mussels and prawns, beef tartare, and ratatouille.
This restaurant stands out for its elegant style and romantic ambience, which is why it is perfect for couples. Prices are reasonable, so it’s also a value-for-money option in Formentera.

7. 10.7
After a swim in Platja de Migjorn, there is no greater pleasure than a good meal by the sea. Not far from the beach, the 10.7 restaurant offers traditional Italian/Mediterranean dishes mixed with an Asian influence. It serves pasta, seafood and some of the best sushi on the island.
In the evening, the view of the sun setting behind Cap de Barbaria is breathtaking. 10.7 is also a great option if you want to celebrate a special event or wedding in Formentera. It is, however, a bit pricey because of its location.
Tip: to reach 10.7 by car, follow the Carretera de la Mola main road until you arrive at KM 10.7 and then follow the sign to get to the beach and restaurant.

On your way back from your trip to the Far de la Mola lighthouse, dinner at the hillside restaurant of El Mirador (meaning “the viewpoint”) is a must. Halfway between Es Caló and El Pilar de la Mola, this place offers a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy a view of the Formentera sea and a spectacular sunset.

In Pilar de la Mola, you will find a hidden gem of a restaurant if you want to have some meat for a change. CanRibs Braseria serves a variety of meats grilled on volcanic stones in XXL plates. All plates are accompanied by salad and potatoes. If you are traveling with a group, we recommend you try the chuletón “vacum” madurado, a large ribeye steak matured for up to 60 days.
