In just 10 minutes from the port, you will be at the picture-postcard village of Klima! Grab the camera and get ready for amazing photos with the characteristic two-story colorful fishermen's houses in the background. Here you will also see sirmata, wires that fishermen used so they could pull the fishing boats to the shore.

Next stop to the famous catacombs for a deep dive into the distant past of Milos! The burial site of the early Christians is reminiscent of a labyrinth of soft volcanic tuff. From afar, catacombs look like holes carved into the rocks and you will definitely be impressed by the ancient inscriptions written in blue and red.

After taking a little taste of one of Milos's most important archeological findings, it's time to take a break to cool off! Head to Plaka, the island's capital, for the most delicious watermelon pie.

However,  if you're craving fresh fish by the sea, Paleochori is the place to be! It has a wide sandy beach, colorful pebbles and fish grilled in the sand. Yes, you read that right! Thanks to the geothermal field, you can enjoy delicious grilled fish in the sand, ready in just 20 minutes.

Of course, you can't leave the island without seeing the famous lunar landscape of Sarakiniko beach! The marks from the bollards of the Saracen pirate ships and the fish fossils on the white rocks are just some of the things that you simply can't miss.
