Playa Blanca
Playa Blanca is located in the southeastern part of Lanzarote, near Puerto del Carmen. It started its life as a small fishing village, but now it’s converted into a luxury resort with many hotels, shops, and restaurants. It is one of the most visited beaches in Lanzarote known for its golden sand, its surfing schools for aspiring surfers, and its large variety of facilities.
La Famara
This beach with its golden sand and volcanic pebbles coast spans over 5km near the city of Teguise. Thanks to the large waves and strong winds that prevail in the area, it is ideal for water sports and surfing.
La Santa
It is one of the most popular beaches among the surfing community due to the quality of the waves. Definitely not a beach for beginners, La Santa is perfect for surfing between the months of September and May.
Playa de la Cantería
Playa de la Cantería or Playa de Atrás is another beach that experienced surfers visit on their trip to Lanzarote. If you are a medium-level and above surfer, you can delight in its large waves! Otherwise, you can enjoy its white sand, and views of the neighboring island of La Graciosa.
Las Cucharas
The beach of Las Cucharas offers a wide range of all types of activities, such as surfing, windsurfing, and scuba diving. It is the most well-rounded beach in terms of sports and amenities in Costa Teguise, and is one of the first options among surfers, groups of friends, and families.
