Ferry routes from Rhodes to Marmaris are most frequent from late spring through early fall, with the highest ticket demand between June and September. If you're planning a trip during the summer months, we recommend booking 1-2 months in advance. For the rest of the year, you can book your tickets even a few days before the date of your trip.

Here are some useful tips for an enjoyable trip and a remarkable stay in Marmaris: 

• If you’re traveling to or from Greece (Rhodes), make sure to carry a valid passport and, if required, the appropriate visa.
• Ferries to Marmaris are typically passenger-only. Car and scooter rentals are widely available in the town for exploring the town and its nearby attractions.
• The local currency is the Turkish lira. While credit cards are widely accepted, you may need cash for some purchases, which you can obtain at currency exchange services in the town.
• We advise you to arrive at the port at least 30-45 minutes before departure, especially during summer, to allow time for passport control and boarding procedures.

Ferries connecting Marmaris to Rhodes are catamarans and do not offer cabins. Comfortable standard seating is available, and snack bars are available on select routes.

Please note that pets are allowed on ferries to Marmaris. 

The Port of Marmaris is located towards the Gunnucek National Park, about a 15-minute walk from the city center. Once you arrive, you will have direct access to restaurants, duty-free shops, ATMs, restrooms, and a taxicab station.
